Primary Focus: Planting approximately 350 trees to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II
Tasks
Lower Campus
- Cut and remove smaller Chinese Elms in the Northeast corner
- Clear all planting areas
- Brush cutting
- Move all cleared brush to Z1 (See location in image below)
- Relocate previously planted memorial trees (Quantity: 3)
- Identify and mark any remaining invasive trees to be removed
- Loosen soil with water prior to planting (if required)
- Dig holes for larger trees with auger
- Transport trees to planting areas
- Arrange trees in the planting areas
- Plant larger trees in pre-dug holes
- Plant smaller trees with shovels and spades
- Water trees after planting
- Establish short-term watering roster (until mulch arrives)

All areas to be planted are color coded for specific trees.
Any cleared brush should be moved to Zone 1 (Z1).
