Historically, the Welcome Dinner is held on the Toowong State School upper (primary) campus. In 2021, construction of the Master Planning 3-story GL classroom building occupies the event space, so for the first time, the event will run on the lower campus, behind the Tennis courts and new (TOSHC) building.
Entertainment includes food, drinks, music and a casual environment to get-together and chat with other people, while observing COVID-19 social distancing safety protocols:
Entry, all families must create a free Eventbrite ticket listing every adult and child who will attend the event. The free ticket includes two essential COVID-safety declarations for each person, regarding symptoms and recent hot-spots. The ticket will be checked at the entry gate. No ticket, no entry. Ticket holders where either of the two COVID declaration statements state "Yes" to symptoms or recent hot-spots will also be denied entry.
